Merits of Attending Majlis & Crying for Ahlulbayt(as)

This hadeeth shows the merit of attending majlis and keeping their affair alive and reward of crying for Ahlulbayt(as).

Mohammad bin Hasan Al-Saffar narrated from Ahmad bin ls'haaq bin saad, from Bakr bin Mohammad Al-Azdi,from Abi Abdillah Jaafar bin Mohammad(as) who said:

"Do you(Shia) sit together and speak (about us)?"

(Bakr bin Mohammad) said,"May I be sacrificed for you, yes!".

Abu Abdullah(as) said:

I love your gatherings. Keep our affairs alive. May Allah have mercy on those who keep our affairs alive,Allah will forgive the sins of those who talk about us, hear about us, and cry for us even as little as the (width of the) wings of a fly, even if their sins are greater than the foam in the seas.

  1. As salaamu 'alaykum,

JazaakAllaah khayr for the hadeeth. I believe you are missing a phrase in the translation when Bakr bin Muhammad al Azdi responds to the initial question of the 'Imaam (a), "May I be sacrificed for you, yes."
