Birth of Imam Al-Mahdi(as)

Here I am posting some Saheeh Hadeeth which show Imam Hasan Al-Askari(as) had a Son Named Muhammed(as) and Meeting of aSahabah with Imam Mahdi(as) which proves that Muhammed al-Mahdi(as) really did exists




2 - محمد بن يحيى، عن أحمد بن إسحاق، عن أبي هاشم الجعفري قال: قلت لابي محمد (عليه السلام): جلالتك تمنعني من مسألتك، فتأذن لي أن أسألك؟ فقال: سل، قلت:
يا سيدي هل لك ولد؟ فقال: نعم، فقلت: فإن بك حدث فأين أسأل عنه؟ فقال:
بالمدينة.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Ishaq from abu Hashim al-Ja‘fari who has said the following. "I said to abu Muhammad (a.s.), ‘Your grace causes shyness to me to ask you questions. May I ask you a question?" He said, "Yes, you may ask." I said, "My master, do you have a son?" He said, "Yes, I do have a son." I then said, "If anything will happen to you, where would I ask him (about my religion)?" He replied, "Ask him in Madina."

الفضل بن شاذان في إثبات الرجعة : حدثنا محمد بن علي بن حمزة العلوي ، قال : سمعت أبا محمد (عليه السلام) يقول : قد ولد وليّ الله وحجته على عباده ، وخليفتي من بعدي ، مختوناً ليلة النصف من شعبان سنة خمس وخمسين ومائتين عند طلوع الفجر




al-Fadhl bin Shadhan in (his book) Ithbat ar-Raj'ah (the Proof of the Return) (said): narrated to us Muhammad bin Ali bin Hamza al-Alawiy, who said: I heard Aba Muhammad (Imam Hasan al-Askariy) عليه السلام saying: the Waliy (authority) of Allah and His Hujjah (proof) to his creation has been born, who is also my Khalifa (vicegerant) after me, (already) circumcised, the night of half of Sha'ban, the year two hundred and fifty five, at dawn's break.

 1 - حدثنا علي بن عبد الله الوراق قال: حدثنا سعد بن عبد الله، عن أحمد ابن إسحاق بن سعد الأشعري قال: دخلت على أبي محمد الحسن بن علي عليهما السلام وأنا أريد أن أسأله عن الخلف [من] بعده، فقال لي مبتدئا: يا أحمد بن إسحاق إن الله تبارك وتعالى لم يخل الأرض منذ خلق آدم عليه السلام ولا يخليها إلى أن تقوم الساعة من حجة لله على خلقه، به يدفع البلاء عن أهل الأرض، وبه ينزل الغيث، وبه يخرج بركات الأرض.
قال: فقلت له: يا ابن رسول الله فمن الامام والخليفة بعدك؟ فنهض عليه السلام مسرعا فدخل البيت، ثم خرج وعلى عاتقه غلام كان وجهه القمر ليلة البدر من أبناء الثلاث سنين، فقال: يا أحمد بن إسحاق لولا كرامتك على الله عز وجل وعلى حججه ما عرضت عليك ابني هذا، إنه سمي رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وكنيه، الذي يملأ الأرض قسطا وعدلا كما ملئت جورا وظلما.
يا أحمد بن إسحاق مثله في هذه الأمة مثل الخضر عليه السلام، ومثله مثل ذي القرنين، والله ليغيبن غيبة لا ينجو فيها من الهلكة إلا من ثبته الله عز وجل على القول بإمامته وفقه [فيها] للدعاء بتعجيل فرجه.
فقال أحمد بن إسحاق: فقلت له: يا مولاي فهل من علامة يطمئن إليها قلبي؟ فنطق الغلام عليه السلام بلسان عربي فصيح فقال: أنا بقية الله في أرضه، والمنتقم من أعدائه، فلا تطلب أثرا بعد عين يا أحمد بن إسحاق.
فقال أحمد بن إسحاق: فخرجت مسرورا فرحا، فلما كان من الغد عدت إليه 
فقلت له: يا ابن رسول الله لقد عظم سروري بما مننت [به] علي فما السنة الجارية فيه من الخضر وذي القرنين؟ فقال: طول الغيبة يا أحمد، قلت: يا ابن رسول الله وإن غيبته لتطول؟ قال: إي وربي حتى يرجع عن هذا الامر أكثر القائلين به ولا يبقى إلا من أخذ الله عز وجل عهده لولا يتنا، وكتب في قلبه الايمان وأيده بروح منه يا أحمد بن إسحاق: هذا أمر من أمر الله، وسر من سر الله، وغيب من غيب الله، فخذ ما آتيتك واكتمه وكن من الشاكرين تكن معنا غدا في عليين.
قال مصنف هذا الكتاب رضي الله عنه: لم أسمع بهذا الحديث إلا من علي بن - عبد الله الوراق وجدت بخطه مثبتا فسألته عنه فرواه لي عن سعد بن عبد الله، عن أحمد ابن إسحاق رضي الله عنه كما ذكرته

1 - Narrated to us Ali bin Abdullah Warraq: Narrated to us Saad bin Abdullah from Ahmad bin Ishaq bin Saad al-Ashari that he said:
“I went to Imam Hasan Askari (a.s.) and wanted to inquire about his successor. His Eminence, preceded me in the matter and said as follows: “O Ahmad bin Ishaq! The Almighty Allah has not left the earth without a Divine Proof since the creation of Adam (a.s.) and would not leave it without a Divine Proof till the hour shall be established (Day of Judgment). Through the Divine Proof calamities are repelled from the inhabitants of the Earth, rain falls and the bounties of the earth come out.” After hearing these words Ahmad asked His Eminence: “Who is the Imam and Caliph after you?” Imam Hasan Askari arose from his seat and hurried inside his house and returned after a short while, in such a way that upon his neck on his shoulders sat a boy, whose face seemed to be like the full moon and it seemed that he was three years old. After that, His Eminence, Imam Hasan Askari (a.s.) said: “O Ahmad! If you were not having a special and exalted position before Allah and the Proof of Allah, I would not have shown this son of mine to you. His name and patronymic is the same as that of the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.s.). He would fill the earth with justice and equity, as it would be fraught with injustice and oppression. O Ahmad! In this community his example is like that of Khizr and Dhulqarnain. By Allah! He will have an occultation and none shall be safe from destruction but one whom Allah has kept steadfast in the belief of his Imam and given the divine opportunity (Taufeeq) to pray for his reappearance.” Ahmad immediately asked, “Is there any sign or symbol so that it may satisfy my heart?” Just then the boy, who looked like a full moon, began to speak and he said: “I am the remnant of Allah on His earth and the revenge- taker from His enemies and do not demand proof after what is before you…” After hearing these words of the Proof of Allah, Ahmad went out of the
house of Imam Hasan Askari (a.s.) in such a condition that his complete being was surrounded by joy. When again he came to Imam Hasan Askari (a.s.) the next day he said: “O son of Allah’s Messenger! I was very much pleased with the favor you bestowed me that day. Thus what is the continuing practice of Khizr and Dhulqarnain?” Imam Hasan Askari (a.s.) said in reply, “Prolonged occultation.” Ahmad at once said, “O son of Allah’s Messenger, would the occultation of the Promised Imam (a.s.) be also prolonged?” Imam (a.s.) replied, “By my Lord! Yes, so much so, that even those who had accepted him, would turn away from their belief and none shall remain except one from whom Allah has taken the covenant of our guardianship and in whose hearts is rooted our love and those who support it with their hearts. O Ahmad! This is the command of Allah and one of the divine secrets and one of the Unseen matters of Allah. So remember what I am telling you and keep it confidential and be of the thankful ones so that you may reside in the position of Illiyeen with us.”

The author says: I heard this tradition only from Ali bin Abdullah Warraq and found it only in his writings. So I asked him about it and he narrated it to me from Saad bin Abdullah from Ahmad bin Ishaq which I have mentioned.

*There is a Iktilaaf(Difference in Opinion)  regarding   Ali bin Abdullah Warraq  among Shia Scholars.Some Scholars who accept Tarahum and Taradhee (Praising) of Sadooq as a sign of madh(praise) or tawtheeq(proof of authenticity) consider him "Thiqah"(Trustworthy).While those who dont accept,consider him "Majhool"(Unknown).so for them the hadeeth is "Majhool"and Allah Knows Best.

9- حدثنا محمد بن إبراهيم بن إسحاق رضي الله عنه قال حدثني أبو علي بن همام قال سمعت محمد بن عثمان العمري قدس الله روحه يقول سمعت أبي يقول سئل أبو محمد الحسن بن علي عليه السلام وأنا عنده عن الخبر الذي روي عن آبائه عليهم السلام أن الأرض لا تخلو من حجة لله على خلقه إلى يوم القيامة وأن من مات ولم يعرف إمام زمانه مات ميتة جاهلية فقال عليه السلام إن هذا حق كما أن النهار حق فقيل له يا ابن رسول الله فمن الحجة والإمام بعدك فقال ابني محمد هو الإمام والحجة بعدي من مات ولم يعرفه مات ميته جاهلية أما إن له غيبة يحار فيها الجاهلون ويهلك فيها المبطلون ويكذب فيها الوقاتون ثم يخرج فكأني أنظر إلى الأعلام البيض تخفق فوق رأسه بنجف الكوفة.

9 - Narrated to us Muhammad bin Ibrahim bin Ishaq (r.a.): Narrated to me Abu Ali bin Hammam: I heard Muhammad bin Uthman al-Umari (q.s.) say: I heard my father say:“Abu Muhammad al-Hasan bin Ali (a.s.) was asked, while I was with him, about traditions narrated from his forefathers, peace be on them, that the earth does not remain without the Proof of Allah on His creatures until the Judgment Day and that if anyone dies without the cognition of the Imam of his time, he dies the death of a pagan. The Imam said: This is as true as the daylight. It was said: O son of Allah’s Messenger, who is the Proof and the Imam after you? He replied:My son, M.H.M.D. Whoever dies not knowing him, will die a pagan death. Behold, he will have an occultation during which the ignorant will be perplexed and the invalidators will perish and the time-assigners will lie. Then he will rise.As if I am gazing at the white standards waving over his head in the Najaf of Kufa.”

3115 - وقال جعفر بن محمد الصادق عليه السلام: " إذا كان أيام الموسم بعث الله تبارك الله تعالى ملائكة في صور الآدميين يشترون متاع الحاج والتجار، قيل: ما يصنعون به؟ قال: يلقونه في البحر " (2). وروي عن محمد بن عثمان العمري - رضي الله عنه - أنه قال: والله إن صاحب هذا الامر ليحضر الموسم كل سنة يرى الناس ويعرفهم ويرونه ولا يعرفونه. وروي عن عبد الله بن جعفر الحميري أنه قال: سألت محمد بن عثمان العمري - رضي الله عنه - فقلت له: رأيت صاحب هذا الامر؟ فقال: نعم وآخر عهدي به عند بيت الله الحرام وهو يقول: " اللهم انجز لي ما وعدتني " قال محمد بن عثمان - رضي الله عنه وأرضاه -: ورأيته صلوات الله عليه متعلقا بأستار الكعبة في المستجار وهو يقول: " الهم انتقم لي من أعدئك "

Shaykh al-Saduq reports in al-Faqih by means of an authentic chain from Abdullah bin Jafar al-Himyari that he said: “I asked Muhammad bin Uthman al-himyari (may Allah be pleased with him), ‘did you see the Master of this affair?’ He replied in the affirmative and said: ‘my last pledge / meeting with him was at the sacred House of God and he was saying; “O my Lord, fulfil that which you have promised me.” And Muhammad bin Uthman al-Amariy (may AllÁh be pleased with him and may he be content with Him) said: “I saw him (may Allahs blessings be on him) clinging to the drapes of the Kaaba and saying: ‘O Allah! Avenge me from your enemies!’

حدثنا محمد بن الحسن رضي الله عنه قال: حدثنا عبد الله بن جعفر الحميري قال: قلت لمحمد بن عثمان العمري رضي الله عنه: إني أسألك سؤال إبراهيم ربه جل جلاله حين قال له: " رب أرني كيف تحيي الموتى قال أو لم تؤمن قال بلى ولكن ليطمئن قلبي " (2) فأخبرني عن صاحب هذا الامر هل رأيته ؟ قال: نعم وله رقبة مثل ذي - وأشار بيده إلى عنقه

From `Abd Allaah bin Ja`far al-Himyari said, I said to Muhammad bin `Uthmaan al-`Amaree, may Allaah be pleased with him,I ask you about a subject, as Allah, the Mighty and the High has said about Ibrahim (a.s.): "Lord, show me how you bring life to the dead. He said: So you not believe? he (Ibraaheem) said: Yes, but in order to satisfy my heart.". So inform me about the master of this affair, have you seen him? He (al-`Amaree) said: Yes, and he has a neck like this, pointing with his hands to his neck.”

حدثنا محمد بن موسى بن المتوكل رضي الله عنه قال: حدثنا عبد الله بن جعفر الحميري قال: سألت محمد بن عثمان العمري رضي الله عنه فقلت له: أرأيت صاحب هذا الامر ؟ فقال: نعم وآخر عهدي به عند بيت الله الحرام وهو يقول: " اللهم أنجز لي ما وعدتني

I asked Muhammad bin `Uthmaan al-`Amari: “Have you the seen the master of this affair?” He replied: “Yes, and the last time I saw him, he was besides the House of Allah and saying: "O my Lord, fulfill the promise that You made to me."”

One more thing From the Hadeeth we come to Know that Imam Hasan al-askari (as) was as also known as by his Kuniyat as Abu Muhammed which Means Father of Muhammed.hence it shows that Imam Hasan(as) did had son named Muhammed therefore he was famous by this kuniyat

"Sunni Scholars also Admit that Imam Hasan(as) had a Son Named Muhammed"

Al-Dhahabi in his Tarikh Al-Islam Vol. 19, p. 113 states: 

وأما ابنه محمد بن الحسن الذي يدعوه الرافضة القائم الخلف الحجة، فولد سنة ثمان وخمسين، وقيل سنة ست وخمسين
"As for his (Hassan al-Askari) son Muhammad ibn al-Hasan, who the Rawafidh call the Qaim al-Khalaf al-Hujja, he was born in the year 258. Some say 255"

Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani, in his Lisan al-Meezan (Vol. 2, p. 119,no 493) in the section on Ja'far al-Kadhdhab):


... أخو الحسن الذي يقال له العسكري، وهو الحادي عشر من الأئمة الإمامية ووالد محمد صاحب السرداب...
He (Ja'far al-Kadhdhab) is the brother of Hasan, called al-Askari, the eleventh Imam of the Imamiyyah and father of Muhammad ...
